Sarah Giufre

Sarah became known to Touchstone Consulting through Chris Klingbeil's involvement with the Starlight Children's Foundation. Sarah worked as "Captain Starlight", entertaining ill and hospitalised children across Australia. Her passion for this role combined with her musical background led her to establish Not-For-Profit organisation "Aardvark". Aardvark provides inspiring young adults suffering long term illness the opportunity to express themselves through music composition and recording. Touchstone has also offered invaluable knowledge and support to Aardvark as it develops.

Sarah's career began in the Arts sector. She gained a Bachelor of Performing Arts in 1998 and went on to complete an Honors Degree in Music Composition. Sarah's musical pursuits have included composing for film and stage and recording and performing her own original contemporary music. She has also worked teaching music to children and as an auditioner for the Australian Youth Choir.

Sarah's interest in the Not-For-Profit sector was sparked when she traveled to America working for International Student Volunteers. Here she recruited university students for conservation and community development volunteer opportunities around the world.

Sarah looks forward to drawing on her experience working with people from diverse backgrounds to bring professionalism and a positive approach to the role of Office Manager at Touchstone.
