Chris Klingbeil

Managing Director Chris Klingbeil is one of Australia’s most well-known senior search consultants.

Over the course of his career, Chris has worked on a number of highly confidential projects with top-50 blue chip corporations. His ability to remain below the radar and achieve the desired result has made him highly sought after in his targeted industries. Chris’ core ethics and strong business skills have established an extremely positive reputation in the industry, and his network extends to all levels within a business.

Chris’ search background includes working on blue chip MD and director roles in virtually every function, as well as group level managers. His clients have included Bluescope Steel, Rank Group, Carter Holt Harvey, Fonterra, ANZ Bank, Dairy Farmers, Alinta, Goodman Fielder, Orica, Brambles, Coke, George Weston Foods, BHP Billiton, PZ Cussons, Kraft, as well as a number of clients who remain anonymous.

He has also worked in the United States, for cornerstone senior search firm Houser Martin Morris, where he worked on CEO/VP/Director level roles for companies like Microsoft and Amazon.

Prior to his search career, Chris was well regarded as a start-up specialist. All of the businesses that Chris started are going concerns today. He has a B Communications from Washington State University, and began his career as a journalist, skills he uses to effectively assess his clients and candidates.

Chris has been married to his wife, Jo, for 15 years, and has two daughters, Millie and Tessa. His personal achievements include his marriage, his children, completing the Oxfam Trailwalker twice, as well as the Melbourne Half and Full Marathons.
