Strictly ConfidentialTouchstone Consulting Australia's ("Touchstone") fees are calculated as a percentage of total first year remuneration. Our executive search fee is 30% of a successful candidate's total first year remuneration. FeesA retainer of one third of our notional fee is payable upon our acceptance of an assignment. A second stage billing fee of one third is invoiced upon confirmation from the client that they would like to interview our shortlist of candidates. The final one third of the overall fee is invoiced when a candidate accepts a position. ExpensesDirect out-of-pocket expenses, such as assignment-related travel, videoconferencing and entertainment expenses, will be invoiced at cost. Interstate and overseas travel expenses will not be incurred without prior consultation with the client. Unlike other search firms, Touchstone do not charge indirect expenses (which may amount to a further 10% of fees). Additional HiresShould a client hire more than one candidate during the search, whether for the original role, or for a different position, Touchstone will charge a fee of 30% total first year remuneration for each candidate. Total First Year RemunerationTotal first year remuneration is defined as the first year's total cash compensation (including base salary and any cash incentives), whether actually paid in the first 12 months, or "accrued" toward the following bonus period, as well as any extra or deferred compensation items such as superannuation, salary sacrificed items, automobiles, equity grants and/or options.
